Mission
MSSOA's goal is to represent the owners and managers of
hundreds of self-storage facilities in Missouri. MSSOA
seeks to accomplish its goal through education, networking, and governmental regulations.
MSSOA is a forum for self-storage industry professionals who want to improve the quality, security, and profitability of the self-storage industry. By addressing the concerns of self-storage facility owners and managers through newsletters and presentations at regional and statewide meetings, MSSOA creates an important network of owners, managers, vendors, suppliers, consultants, legal advisors, and industry representatives.
MSSOA also serves as the official liaison to the national Self-Storage Association, which provides industry information, technology access, member discounts on products and services, and advocacy and professional development services. By being an active participant in the national association, MSSOA stays on top of regulatory and legislative actions that can affect local self-storage facility owners.
MSSOA is governed by a board of directors. Officers are elected at the organization's annual meeting in the fall.
